My eldest goddaughter came for lunch the other day and gave me the fantastic news she’s pregnant. She’s been trying for a while and it’s wonderful it’s finally happened. When she was leaving I gently told her to be extra careful and shared with her about a friend who miscarried after falling off her bike at seven months.
